Kick-off meeting

Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission officially started the “Clinical Data and Sample Resource Library Construction of Major Diseases in Beijing” Project, and entrusted Capital Medical University to take the lead to establish the Project Management Committee.

Successfully fulfilled the establishment of foundation platform, and construction of 12 disease resource libraries in total

From 2009 to 2012
Phase I of the Project

Establishedthe “Development and Application Research on Clinical Data and Sample Resource Library of Major Diseases in Beijing”, there were15 disease resource libraries in the project.

Conclusion

About 140,000 cases and about 750,000 samples are checked, and the sample category involves serum, plasma, whole blood, leukocyte, DNA, urine, hemocyte, tissue, etc.

● Assist Capital Medical University to promote the construction of management system in a scientific manner: as Level 1 recommended local standard in Beijing,the Construction and Management for Clinical Biobanks is officially approved.
● As the only third party quality controller, establish the independent third party check system for sample full lifecycle management in this field.

● Participate in the compilation of Exploration and Practice in Clinical Biobanks
